Tamagotchis were invented in Japan by this lady who wanted an easy to care for pet. They look like little flattened eggs with a little screen and 3 buttons on the bottom. On the screen is a cute little digital pet that needs your attention. It poops, sleeps, eats, plays, needs discpline, and on the Tamagotchi Angels, they pray and go for little strolls. When it first came out in Japan people were going absolutely crazy for these pets. They robbed eachother, camped out at stores that said they'd have them, and paid enormous prices for these little plastic eggs. And I'm not saying it isn't worth it, I love them! I have one of the first kind, the Generation 1 and a Generation 2 and a Tamagotchi Angel. Tamagotchis grow into a variety of characters depending on how well you take care of them. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
